Classical Ballet Academy offers professional training in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Modern Dance, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and Pilates. Students are carefully led through each level where they are instructed in an encouraging and pleasant atmosphere. Emphasis is placed on individual instruction.
Through the dance experience, students enjoy the activity, while learning technique and self-discipline.
While technique is strongly emphasized, so is movement and self-expression. There is a strong feeling at our school, that all of these areas must be developed together.
Students have been selected for the advanced study at Pacific Northwest Ballet, School of American Ballet (New York City Ballet), San Francisco Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, ABT, Alvin Ailey, Boston Ballet, Ballet Met, Ballet Austin, Kansas City Ballet, Boston Conservatory, Ballet Aspen, the highly selective Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain, as well as numerous other schools.
Students have also continued their professional dance by performing with such companies as the Pacific Northwest Ballet, Carolina Ballet, Oklahoma Festival Ballet, Ballet Oklahoma, Tulsa Ballet, Perpetual Motion Dance Co., American Spirit Dance Co., as well as others.
